Why choose electromagnetic?
An electromagnet's strength can be set by adjusting the current. That helps when the same machine must handle different materials or when very high intensity is needed for weakly magnetic particles. Electromagnets can also be de-energised, which makes it easy to release captured iron during cleaning. The trade-off is power consumption and the need for a control panel, so we only recommend electromagnetic designs where they add real value.

Is electromagnetic equipment more powerful than permanent magnets?
Electromagnets can reach higher or adjustable intensities, but modern rare-earth permanent magnets are very strong and need no power. We recommend whichever suits your application.
