How it works
As product falls onto the drum, a stationary high-intensity magnet assembly inside the stainless steel shell holds ferrous contaminants against the drum surface. Clean material falls freely to the outlet. As the drum turns, cleats sweep captured iron out of the magnetic zone and release it into a separate discharge. Separation is therefore continuous, and nobody needs to stop the line to clean the magnet.
Magnets are high-intensity strontium ferrite or rare-earth, chosen to suit the particle size you need to catch. Housings are available in mild steel or stainless steel.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose an inline drum instead of a plate magnet?
When iron load is high, or the line cannot be stopped for cleaning, an inline drum removes iron continuously without manual cleaning.
Does it need a separate motor?
Yes, the drum is motor driven so that it can discharge captured iron continuously.
Is it available in stainless steel for food use?
Yes, housings and contact parts can be supplied in stainless steel.
